Direct Console Connection
Send studies straight from the modality — no CD, no PACS in between.
SoftDicom listens as a standard DICOM Storage SCP with its own AE Title and port. Configure it once on your CT, MR or cath lab console and studies transfer directly to the device over the local network. No CD burning, no export folder, no PACS administrator in the loop.
Included with every SoftDicom device. Disabled until you enable it.
Standard DICOM networking
Acts as a C-STORE SCP and answers C-ECHO verification, so any standards-compliant console can send to it without custom software.
Configurable AE Title and port
Set the Application Entity Title and listening port to fit your existing naming scheme and firewall rules.
Local network only
The listener binds on your network. Studies travel from console to device and go no further unless you enable Cloud Backup.
Off until you enable it
The listener is disabled by default. Leave it off and the device behaves exactly as it always has — fully offline.
